- I am a fully qualified experienced BACP Accredited Person Centred Counsellor and Therapeutic Supervisor. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and registered on The BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and I follow the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice http://www.bacp.co.uk/ethical_framework/.
I have over 13 years’ experience of working with adults of all ages, individuals and couples from a wide range of backgrounds presenting at varying levels of distress, I work with bereavement, relationship counselling, work difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression and personal development. I have a special interest in Workplace Stress, Relationship Counselling, Anger Management and Personal Development. Alongside private practice I work as an Online Bereavement Counsellor Team leader with Sue Ryder.
In addition to my counselling qualifications I am trained in Anger Management and Family Mediation, Coaching and Mentoring. I have worked within the local community for a number of years supervising a team of Wellbeing Workers who supported people to manage the underlying causes which may be impacting on the individual’s ability to manage their health and wellbeing.
I am fully committed to my own continual professional development and I regularly undertake additional training courses to enhance my therapeutic work. I am fully committed to helping clients bring about positive change in their lives.
