Room Booking Deposit (dependent on venue)

Please note when booking your initial appointment, I ask all clients to make advance payment of a £10 room booking deposit prior to confirming the appointment.

Please note that unfortunately I am unable to refund this payment if you have paid the room booking deposit but decide not to attend your initial appointment,

If you do attend the appointment and decide that you wish to continue counselling and adhere to my cancellation policy below, I will hold the room booking deposit for the duration of therapy and return £10 to you following your last appointment.

I consider any appointment that you have made with me important. Your appointment is for your exclusive use and when it is cancelled with short notice, or missed altogether, it is often too late or impossible to offer this time to someone else, and the appointment time goes unfilled.

  • A full 24 hours’ notice is required for cancelling appointments.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours before your appointment time, you will be charged for 50% of the cost of your appointment,
  • Please enquire if you would like an appointment reminder. If you are uncertain when your next appointment is, please contact me.
  • I will always aim to give you as much notice as possible of any holidays, training workshops, conferences or illness that might prevent me from being available at the time/day of the scheduled session. In such cases the counsellor will always aim to offer an alternative arrangement.
  • There is a range of valid reasons for cancelling an appointment. In order to be consistent with all clients, cancellation fees will only be waived in the event of a medical emergency requiring urgent professional treatment, a death in the family, or natural disaster.
